With the improvement of people's living standards nowadays, various household appliances have entered thousands of households one after another, becoming an indispensable helper for people's home life. Faced with a wide range of small household appliances with different functions, do you know all the tips for using them? Today, I will share some tips on the use and purchase of small home appliances based on my experience in part-time maintenance of various small home appliances for many years. I hope that the majority of electricians can introduce them to more friends.

1. After using electric cookers such as induction cookers and convection cookers, please wait patiently for a while so that their built-in cooling fans can continue to work. The AC power supply can be cut off until the temperature of the power components such as the IGBT is reduced to the specified range and the operation is automatically stopped. In the maintenance, I often encounter many cases of elderly people who are afraid of using electricity and unplug the power plug directly after using the induction cooker, which causes electrical damage!

2. When summer comes, before using the air conditioner, you should remove the filter in the indoor unit of the air conditioner, clean it up, and use it. This will not only prevent the growth of bacteria, but also ensure the smoothness of the air outlet of the air conditioner and achieve the effect of saving electricity.

3. When watching TV or using a computer, the brightness of the screen should be adjusted reasonably. Too bright or too dark will not only affect the quality of the picture, but also easily cause eye fatigue, and will reduce the life of the screen.

4. Electric shavers, ball machines and other small appliances with batteries inside should be charged before use after a long period of inactivity. Otherwise, the internal lithium ion (nickel-metal hydride, nickel-chromium, etc.) battery is prone to malfunction due to the voltage drop, which affects normal use.

5. Due to the low price and easy operation, some household appliances that use clockwork timers (such as two-cylinder washing machines, electric fans, etc.) still appear in residents' homes. When operating the timer of this part of the electrical appliance, you should try to avoid reversing (counterclockwise), otherwise the clockwork timer is easily damaged due to its own structure.

6. When purchasing soymilk, juicer, household vacuum cleaners and other household appliances that require high-power and high-speed motors, you should try to choose products that use brushless motors. Although the price of this electrical appliance is slightly higher than that of similar products that use brushed series-excited motors, it can save the trouble and follow-up expenses caused by regular replacement of carbon brushes and maintenance of the rotor, resulting in the effect of saving more expensive use!
